The Writer's Stop Carrot Cake Cookie ...

........is my favourite snack in the World ever.

A wonderful use of a snack credit, methinks.

Not sure how Kat, the photographer, managed to jump into the image

They are awesome! I tried them last trip during the dessert party we did and I was in heaven. My number one snack for me though is still the Butterfinger cupcake, yummo, best cupcake ever

Everyone is right about that looking good. Add that to my list of goodies to try along with Butterfinger cupcakes, Dole Whips, and others that aren't coming to me now. I need to go check out the post about favorite snacks. Most of these will be my first time trying them.

I really want to try one of these, but I fear the cookie might have walnut pieces studded throughout. DH is allergic and I'm not sure I could eat one all by myself.

Does this cookie have nuts?

Not obvious ones. The cookie is more like carrot cake in texture (ie more soft than hard). I recall raisins, but no nuts. Without prejudice .

Claudine, you could definitely eat one by yourself. Live dangerously

It's creamy yumminess. Like the stuff atop a regular carrot cake.

I was worrying about nuts too - I'm not allergic - I just don't like them. In fact, I am of the firm opinion that nuts do not belong in cookies or brownies, either. A lot of those desserts have nuts in them, and so I skip them.
