Beaches and Cream, etc questions

Our trip is 102 days away! . My son and I have been keeping a notebook and writing questions down as we think if them to inquire about here. So we have a few dining questions.....

1. Can you use a snack credit at Beaches and Cream for just a treat? We don't plan to have a meal there but to come for some ice cream on a non park day.

2. Both locations of Rainforest Cafe are now accepting the Dining Plan now, yes?

3. Can you use a snack credit for turkey legs (son is wondering)

4. Main Street Bakery in MK- what items take snack credit? Are the ham and cheese croissants a snack or qs credit?

I think that's it for dining questions....so far .

Thanks everyone

The only thing I can say for sure in regards to all your questions is usually anything $4 or less is considered a snack. I know as of a couple of years ago, the turkey legs were something like $5 or $6 so those won't be counted as a snack. The sandwiches at the bakery may not either but whatever location you are at will have a DDP logo next to the item if you can get it as part of the plan. You can always check out prices at Allears.net for a rough idea of what things cost. There also used to be a list of confirmed DDP eligible snacks somewhere but I don't know where it is or how current it is.

Not at the restaurant andc no on the take out window.
Head out to the beach area. Between Beach Club and Yacht Club is Hurricane Hanna's which offers gelato, Mickey bars, and frozen lemonade for a snack credit.

2. Both locations of Rainforest Cafe are now accepting the Dining Plan now, yes?
YES

3. Can you use snack credit for turkey legs (son is wondering)
NO, the rule is $4 maximum except for a few items.

4. Main Street Bakery in MK- what items take snack credit? Are the ham and cheese croissants a snack or qs credit?
Disney Dining Snack Credit List | WDW Guru Travel
Check your brochure for a list of restaurants that are quick service and table service. The above link has all the Main Street snacks.

According to the Mom's panel, you can use a snack credit at Beaches and Cream, but only for a single scoop of ice cream and only at the take out window (if you eat inside you have to use a TS credit). Moms Panel | Walt Disney World Resort * will any snack items be available on the deluxe dining plan at the beach club resort beaches & cream soda shop? I read this is a good place for an afternoon snack and is this close to Epcot?

I don't know about the croissants at the Main St Bakery, but the ham and cheese croissants at the bakery in France are a snack on the DDP and they are delicious!

I think the turkey legs are coming in at about $7.59 at this point.

I did a review of the places sort of. I did not see the dining plan image on the outdoor menu boards. The take out area is through a door not a window so to speak. When I am tired i hope people know what I mean.

I am sorry if I am wrong. I will go out there tomrrow afternoon and check for you if that makes everyone happy. Also you could call the hotel for information. I try to be throrough in my investigations and try to report everything I see as far as the dining plan.

While the menu boards are usually up-to-date, sometimes they do not have the notation on them for what is a snack item. Unless you asked the Cast Member if something was a snack item, you might not be able to tell.

No worries -- no one expect anyone to have all the answers!
