(so what else is new? LOL!), because I just made an ADR for lunch at LeCellier for a late October trip! He has a conference in DW then & the current plan is that I will be tagging along for part of it, then staying on a few more days so we can "do Disney" w/o kids. I know LeCellier hasn't had the best reviews lately, but it is a place I've always wanted to try. We most likely won't be on a dining plan, so I thought lunch would be a good option. He really likes Disney, but doesn't "get" all the details & planning you have to do like I do .

I went there for the 1st time in December 2011 and I would also recommend getting a bowl of the Cheddar Cheese Soup.
Also if you are there when they open at 11:30 AM in the waiting area all their serves sing the Canadian National Anthem. As a Canadian myself I thought that was a nice thing to see.
We always go for lunch, especially now dinner is signature and costs 2 credits We've never had a bad meal here and it's a must-do every trip. We both love the pretzel bread and cheddar cheese soup Last time we ate here I had the filet with mushroom risotto and it was divine. Enjoy your meal here and don't worry, my hubby used to be the same and didn't like me making ADRs. Now after 9 trips together, he gets it and joins in the planning fun

Planned Trips:
Nov/Dec 2012 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and my 40th birthday!
Sounds good! We do Le Cellier almost every trip and never have had a bad meal. We had one lunch a few years ago where my steak was overcooked but that can happen anywhere. Our last few meals there have been wonderful. We almost always go for lunch also.
The pretzel bread & cheese soup will be a "must do"! I'm so looking forward to this!

I know my boys think I am insane, planning meals when our trip is 6 weeks away. But my older son understands- and as much as I hate planning meals so far out (I have a hard time planning for the next week for meals), I know I have too. Otherwise we will be eating Counter service meals and even those get old pretty fast.
I have never eaten at Le Cellier- but I have heard good reviews. One day I will!
But you enjoy your meal and your few extra days without the kids! : )
