I apologize in advance if this is TMI. My sister and I went to Tokyo Dining last night and about an hour afterwards we both started not feeling well. We both made it back to the room and had tummy trouble. I was also having chills. A few hours later I was super sick with tummy trouble and vomiting and I'm just now feeling normal and the chills went away. Does this sound like food poisoning and should I tell someone?
Yep that was food poisoning yuk. So sorry about that. Good thing about it is once you purge your body of it you feel fine. I would also inform them of it, they might have gotten a bad batch of something and most ppl don't say anything. Have a great rest of your trip.
So sorry to hear that happened. I'm glad you're starting to feel better though. I too would let someone know it happened.

Thanks everyone! I will call tonight when I get back to our room. I'm feeling so much better and I'm currently at animal Kingdom enjoying the nice weather!
Definitely let someone know. Anybody remember way back when & alot of people got sick with the unpasterized orange juice that they use to serve that was sooo good. Off the menu! Our whole family got sick after eating breakfast at Trails End one year and my son & daughter-in-law ended up in the hospital. Disney does take this seriously and try so hard to make certain everyone and all food is safe. Glad yall are feeling better and enjoying your trip.
Most of the time, food poisoning takes more than an hour to "hit" - it's completely possible that something you ate the previous night could have been responsible. These days, what we call "food poisoning" almost always has a bacterial/microbial cause, and it usually takes a while for those bugs to multiply and make us sick. The kind of food poisoning Lucretia Borgia is famous for is another matter - those were chemical poisons (cyanide, arsenic, etc.), and can act very quickly.
