It's been seen at Disneyland Hong Kong and I'm hoping it will be there in the fall. Here's a picture of what I mean: Glow in the Dark Cotton Candy

It looks like fun. I guess whether it comes to WDW will depend on demand. Personally I want to see all the various popcorn flavours at WDW that they have at Tokyo, but so far my strawberry popcorn hasn't made it over there yet.

Saw this in DCA for the World Of Color show. It's all about the lights there.

They have Mickey ear hats that synchronize with the show now. Everyone in the audience wearing them changes together and it's incorporated to "match" what is happening on stage.

I don't remember seeing it when we were there in late June. My sister and youngest son are huge cotton candy fans so they ate a LOT of it. Like at least one package a day. They had pink, blue and purple at Disney and agreed purple is best. Then at Universal we spotted green and were so excited! My sister had gone home but my son managed to have 4 colors of cotton candy in 10 days - one of the highlights of his trip. In case you were wondering, green was good but purple is still the best.

I know we'd love to try the glowing version if they sold it!
