We are going this November with the free dining plan and have made ressies for our TS meals. We usually only eat breakfast and dinner. Since dinner is taken care of with our TS meals, what is the best way to use our QS meals/snacks for breakfast. Any suggestions? We will be staying at POP for 5 nights, and then moving to AofA for the last 2 nights (which won't be on the dining plan).
We eat in the food court at Music most mornings. They offer large breakfast platters, pancakes, waffles, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, and omelets. Snack credits can be used for yogurt and granola parfaits (my husband's favorite), bagels, muffins, oatmeal or cereal. My husband and I occasionally buy an extra muffin or bagel with a snack credit, then split one adult breakfast platter. (We like to eat lunch too!) Bring your mug for coffee and take a bottled beverage with your meal credits; then you'll have a drink to take to the park with you or to have later in the room.
If you get peckish midday, many places offer things like soup or fruit for snack credits that can make a small meal to tide you over till dinner. Our favorite find was Mango smoothies by Odwalla at the AK fruit cart.
If you have no DP at AofA, you can use up your snack credits the night before you change rooms, and take baked goods, bottled beverages, fruit, puddings, etc. with you. If you should still have QS meal credits, you can buy sandwiches and take them with you as well. Just remember that your dining credits all expire at midnight of the night you check out from POP.

The resort food courts usually have good choices. I will say that we get tired of it after a few days though and like to try other places.
WolfGang Puck in DTD serves a unique assortment of good breakfast items (including omelets, casseroles..they have some hearty choices). Not just the usual waffles etc.

We stayed at Pop 3 years ago and as I recall they have a huge food court with lots of options at breakfast. The portions were so large that we often split our meal, which allowed us to split another meal if we got hungry before dinner. (We were on the TS/QS/Snack DP.) It was fast, convenient and it opens very early.

We did the same thing. MS Bakery makes a nice QS breakfast, as does Sunshine Seasons in the land. The only "problem" with those two is that you are "wasting" prime park time, while at the resort you can be eating before the parks open. That said, enjoying doing what you want to do is more important than cramming in as many rides as possible.
I have to say we loved the Food Court at the hotel (we stayed at POR). It had someething for everyone and I never really tired of it, because there was always something different to try! My DD loved it as well and I traveled with a very picky nephew and even he was happy. That's your best bet....hearty and a good way to energize yourself for a full day!
Breakfast at Everything Pop is a good option, but there are some others as well--Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, Main St Bakery at MK, Starring Rolls at DHS, and Pizzafari at AK come to mind.
