Of all the restaurants that have tables with views of Illuminations, which is your favorite? And do you base your choice on food? Atmosphere? Best view? Thanks!!
We've only seen Illuminations once, but we loved the view from the patio of Rose and Crown. The food was great and you have to get the sticky toffee pudding for dessert...yum-o!
I have to say IF you can get a patio table at Rose and Crown it has the best viewing for Illuminations. My families problem is that they are picky and there really is not anything on the menu that they want. This August we will be trying La Hacienda so we will see.....

Good question. We always get a table on the patio of Rose and Crown. The view is wonderful, but we agreed after this last time never to do this again, because none of us really liked the food. So we have to find a new place before we go again. I know it won't be Mexican because I don't like Mexican food, so yes, this is a problem!
The only restaurants that really have a view are La Hacienda, Rose & Crown, and Tokyo Dining. None of them guarantee a view, as only some seats have a view of the water.
Good luck!
We tried waiting for a table at 'Ohana once (to be next to a window for the fireworks). Waited an extra 45 minutes and were still seated in the middle of the room. None of the people by the windows would vacate their tables. Since then, we don't bother with trying to see from a restaurant.
