HELP - HDD switch?

Oh darn ... all along I had wanted to book HDD, but when I did my ADR's it was scheduled for refurbishment while I was there. But after reading someone elses PTR, I notice that that is no longer the case. So here is my question .... would you make this change: cancel 5:00pm dinner reservations at Whispering Canyon Cafe, book HDD for that time slot (using up two TS credits) and then pay out of pocket for one of our other TS reservations (maybe TREX as I heard the portions are big enough to share) ..... ????

Yep! That is what I would do. It really depends though on what you want to do more and whether you want to spend the extra on a TS meal.

That's what I would do. It's much better to pay for a meal that's a la carte than a fixed prixe meal. At least a la carte, you can pick and choose what you want to get, share meals, etc.

When we ate at Trex it was not on DDP...hubby and I just shared a appetizer platter and it was plenty. HDDR is well worth it, IMHO!

I would do it! We love HDDR and think it's well worth the two TS credits. I don't think the food is wonderful but we had so much fun in January we are doing it again in two months. Have a great time.

T-Rex is included on the DDP now, but I do hear that the portions are ginormous, so sharing and paying OOP might be a great idea.

Well poop! Turns out the only seating available for anytimes that would work for me are Category 1 - which is not covered under the plan So I could chose to go at 9:30 ... which I am not sure is a great idea with my boys OR suck it up and pay for it out of pocket ..... just not sure.
I will keep trying .... so if anyone has it booked on Sunday September 23 - please feel free to cancel and let me know

Bummer! 9:30pm would be way too late for our family to eat so it stinks that's all that's available for you.

It can be quite pricey so I'm not sure I'd pay OOP for this one. : (And that's coming from someone who has gone 3 times.)

That said, it *is* a fabulous show and one we enjoy immensely.
