Can this be right [Tables in Wonderland breakeven question]
We are new Dvc member s so can purchase TIw. I wasn't going to for our next trip as it is only 8 nights our restaurants will be Sanaa, chef mickeys, krona cafe and artists point with a quick lunch at beaches and cream. Anyway even with only 4 adr's it looks worthwhile. Does that make sense?
TIW is accepted at all 5 of the restaurants you mentioned above. It's also good at Pizzafari, Restaurantasaurus, and Flame Tree BBQ (all are in Animal Kingdom park and are QS), food courts at all value resorts, POFQ and Artist's Palette at SSR (resort hopping, anyone?). Assuming there are five of you, it doesn't take ordering the most expensive meals to add up to $500 over an 8 night stay (that's the break-even point when you purchase it for the $100 DVC rate rather than the $75 AP rate).
We bought ours at the AP rate and 3 meals for 3 adults (and an infant who is a hefty eater and eats for free) almost paid for it. When we return in October and use it daily for a 7 night stay, it will save us a bundle!
That's right. It's important to balance for your dining habits whether or not the card would pay for itself.
For us, we tend to do several signature dining experiences with drinks over the course of two weeks. I know you're not staying as long, but take a look at your dining habits to be better able to judge its benefits.
