Has anyone tried to walk up to Le Cellier without a reservation and get a table for lunch? We're a party of 2 people and I would love to snag a lunch on the 10th of December. There's nothing online right now and I'm hoping for some luck but I've never tried this before with Le Cellier.
All I can advise is to keep trying back, as people do cancel and you can try showing up as soon as the restaurant opens and see if they can accommodate you.
Anyone staying club level could ask the concierge to check their listing. We were told that they sometimes can shoehorn your party in if you're flexible about when you'll eat. We got a Le Cellier lunch the day before by this method.

We have done well by calling dining services at the time we want to eat. They know where the open tables are and we have always been able to get a place-often pretty popoular-Chef Mickey's Flying Fish, etc,
If you get there right when they open for lunch at 11:30 I believe then they will probably find a table for 2. We had ressies for 12:30 one day but showed up at 11:30 and asked if they could fit us in earlier they sat us in 5 mins. You stand a better chance of that happening if you are there before 12:00. Good luck! It is our favorite restaurant and we are having lunch again in May.
