We usually just eat something in the room, but will be leaving in the afternoon, so I thought a nice breakfast before we fly out. Any suggestions? (3 adults and 3 kids 6,9,8) Our first day we are eating at Chef Mickey's. Thanks!
I would suggest 1900 Park Fare which I felt was very fun and I love their strawberry soup. I also love the breakfast at Trails End Resort which is really cheap compared to all the other buffets but just as wonderful.

We LOVE. 1900 Park Fare. We have eaten there for breakfast on our last two trips. The food and character interaction have always been fabulous and a great way to end our Disney vacation!
Whispering Canyon is our favorite breakfast spot and it would be so fun for the ages of your group. We always just laugh all the way through our meals there. Last time they had my DH singing "If You're Happy and You Know It" in a microphone while walking around the restaurant with our waitress. I couldn't hardly breathe from laughing!
My daughter has always loved Alice and Mary Poppins, so 1900 PF is the choice for us. Because it's on the monorail, it's pretty easy to get to using resort busses.
We're a fan of character breakfasts on the last day. I would recommend whichever one is closest to where you are staying, unless you are planning on hitting a park in the morning.
