ADR cancellation policy

I just made ADR for crystal palace and had to give my credit card number. Can I cancel this without a fee? And how late may I do this? We have reservations for 10:00 but have a flight at 3:10 and not sure we can make magical express from Pop Century. Any opinions?

My experience has been that as long as you cancel in advance of the reservation, you won't be charged. If you don't call to cancel and just don't show up, you're charged.

There are several restaurants that will charge a cancellation fee if they aren't cancelled a full day before you are due to dine there.

1900 Park Fare
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Artist Point
California Grill
Cape May Café
Chef Mickey’s
Cítricos
The Crystal Palace
Flying Fish Café
The Garden Grill
Hollywood & Vine
Jiko – The Cooking Place
Le Cellier Steakhouse
Narcoossee’s
'Ohana
Tusker House Restaurant
The Hollywood Brown Derby
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Victoria & Albert’s (cancellation policy is $25 per person)

All other restaurants can be cancelled with no penalty, although it is courteous to other guests that you call the dining line to cancel so someone else could use your time slot. (407-WDW-DINE)

Magical Express will want to pick you up at your resort about 3 hours before flight time, give or take 20 minutes. If you are there on time (or, even better, slightly early) for your ADR and you eat fairly quickly and return to your resort right away, you should make it. I estimate about 1 hour of actual dining time.

We were told any ADR secured with a credit card requires 24 hour cancellation notice to not be charged a fee. I'd try to go earlier if possible.

Are you taking DME? If so, they will pick you up at noon for a 3:15 flight. a 10 AM reservation at CP would be cutting it too close IMO unless you plan on cabbing it back to Pop. A 10:00 reservation does not mean you will be seated at 10:00. If it was not a character meal, I might chance it w/ the cab.

Thanks for all your input - just changed reservations to another day so we won't have to worry about missing ME.

That sounds like a good plan to me. Glad you were able to make that change.
