Beaches and Cream

Is this accessable via boat from Epcot? If not, how far from Epcot?

Re: Beaches and Cream

It is accessible via boat - you get off at the first stop for the Yacht and Beach Club and then head towards the Yacht Club entrance. As you get there, you'll notice a path off to your right - follow that and Beaches and Cream is a little way along on your left. If you choose to walk, it's about a five minute walk.

Re: Beaches and Cream

I think it's easier to walk, unless you need a rest. As Cheryl said, it's just a 5 minute walk. It's a great place to eat, have a wonderful time

Re: Beaches and Cream

Yes, it is. But I would walk if the weather is nice. And after lunch, you will probably WANT to walk (wherever you're going) LOL.

Beaches and Cream

Remember that you can't make a PS though so try and eat at an "off hour" so you don't have too long of a wait.

Re: Beaches and Cream

On our trip in February, we actually walked there from Disney-MGM Studios! Someone didn't want to wait for the Friendship....

I heartily recommend the "No Way, Jose'"; it's a hot fudge and peanut butter sauce sundae.

They also have real Cherry Cokes--and they do refills!

Re: Beaches and Cream

Beaches and Cream is a bit confusing to find if youre not used to the resort. It is behind stormalong bay and sometimes you can cut through the pool area and other times you can to get to it. I would suggest walking from Epcot until you see the main walkway to the YC and then you will see the covered porch area that starts on your right as you are walking up. Walk along that and you will come up to Beaches and Cream. GET THE KITCHEN SINK!!!!! Your tummy will love you for it!
