I know from reading different sites that AKL has a very nice selections of South African wines and that Jiko serves them at that specific restaurant. Do they offer the same wine list at Boma?

I called to make a PS for this yesterday as well and asked them if Boma served wine and the person was unsure. How can I find out? If they don't serve wine, then I want to change my PS to Jiko.

They do serve wine, I had some on the last trip, however, I don't know if it is the same list as Jiko. We also ordered a bottle in our room and the front desk let us choose from the Jiko list. The wines are fabulous, with many you won't find elsewhere. Be forwarned! Its tempting to try so many (they serve dozens by the glass) that you will end up with a monumental wine bill. Not that I speak from experience or anything

Also bear in mind the price, a glass of wine anywhere at AKL is at least $8, many are $12 or $16. A bottle from the restaurant can be $60 to $100 or more. In comparing to the rest of the world wine prices, I would say they are a little less than double for equal quality, ie. if you drink house wine for $4-5 a glass in a restaurant at home you'll pay $8 or so at Disney for the house wine quality glass.
