I'm a bit concerned when reading that I'm going to be charged the FULL price for my families reservations for the Hoop Dee Doo, Mickey's Backyard BBQ and Spirit of Aloha.

We are using the Silver Plan because I basically want to PREPAY everything with CASH, NOT my credit card.

Even if they reinburse me when I get there and refund my credit card (which would be from my checking account), that does give me the cash back in my hands that I would have had for souvenirs etc. For my family this would be a $450 debit from my checking that would be coming out of my spending money.

Someone tell me this just isn't true??

Have you already made your reservations? If not - I'd do it soon - I've heard that they are going to start charging your credit card at the end of August, but as of now - they only take your credit card number as security.

We've done the Hoop De Doo 3 times now - they took my credit card number at the time of reservation - but didn't charge it till I picked up my tickets the day of the show.

We did the silver plan in July of this year and when we called for the Hoop-de-doo they did not charge our credit card. We did not have any problem at all and they just sent our tickets right to our resort without ever charging our credit card. I think they just scanned the room key to take off our magical wishes. It was that easy.



Even with the new rule about paying with a credit card beforehand, I cannot imagine they would make you pay now if you are planning to use your magical wishes, they would probably take your credit card number and if you never show up to get the tickets, they would just charge your card instead. This is just a guess
