| DDE just saved me $29 And we are not even there yet! I had booked the Spirit of Aloha dinner show which is a pre paid event. I called just now and they applied a $29 credit to my credit card!
Woohoo! Now just another $21 in savings and the card has paid for itself.
So if anyone has a dinner show booked and joins DDE, don't forget to call for the discount. Do keep in mind the the discount is only on the late show according to my listing I got with my letter. |

DDE stands for Disney Dining Experience - you can find out more about it at Deb Wills' site Basically you purchase it and it then saves you 20% on all food and beverage (including alcohol) for up to 10 people at participating table-service Disney restaurants for a year, except on major holidays. Check out the link for full details. |

| Re: DDE just saved me $29 Since it used to be just for FL residents, we jumped at the opportunity to join before our October trip . . . it cost us $70, since we were also Seasonal Pass Holders then it will be $60 to renew I think they told me (but there might be something new now that it is nationwide) . . .
During the week that we were there in October alone, we saved what we spent on the first year's membership!!! We had a LOT of PS's and we ate some at the food court at All Star Movies . . . we ended up saving somewhere around $75 with the DDE!!!
This past trip, I know we saved a lot, but it wasn't even CLOSE to October's total (we ate a lot of counter service, a couple of meals in the food court and only ONE character meal!!!)
Looking forward to using it for our March trip for us AND my in-laws . . . !!! |
