Breakfast Options at WL

I can't believe we have less than 2 weeks before our trip!! As I'm making final plans, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about their experiences with breakfast at the WL?

My family typically wants to eat a "real" breakfast (read as - not pre-packaged things or cereal we keep in our room). I know we will probably eat at least once or twice at the Whispering Canyon, but this will probably be a time-killer. How quick and how good are the things that are available at the Roaring Fork? Anyone order room service for breakfast, how was the service? Can you order breakfast the night before for a certain delivery time?

Thanks!!

Re: Breakfast Options at WL

Hi
We did most of our breakfast meals at Roaring Forks.
The food here is about the same as all the other fast food in the resorts. Not bad but nothing to write home about.
It can get VERY busy in the morning with everyone else trying to get to the Parks. We would often have 1 or 2 of us go down with what everyone wanted then bring it back to the room to eat.
The first ones to get ready went down while the rest of the family had thier turn in the bathroom.
Also there can often be long lines for the boats 1st thing in the morning so plan this into your time.
We did not do room service so cannot help you on that one.
Good Luck!!!
Tim

Yes, they leave a card to hang on your door for room service to be delivered at a certain time. The times are listed in 1/2 hour ranges. We had excellent food and it was alway to our room within the time frame we selected. We usually order from room service 2-3 times a trip because my dh loves full breakfast and all I want is coffee, so this saves us alot of time- he eats while I get ready.

Great! Sounds like we will have some nice breakfast options, and I love that room service can be ordered ahead of time

Thanks!
