Do you have a MUST at Ghirardelli's when you go to WDW? I have to have a hot fudge sundae and DH has to bring chocolate home. We can get Ghirardelli's chocolate chips here and I make a chocolate chip cake that is a MUST almost everyweek!       |

I went to the DTD one on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 and on Friday, December 12, 2003. I went to the one in Las Vegas on Wednesday, February 25, 2004.

Ghiradelli's is a must for us! Especially DH!
On our 1st trip to Ghiradellis, my 1st sundae was Strike it Rich and now it's a must for me -- butter pecan ice cream, butterscotch sauce and golden almond nuggets under a layer of premium vanilla ice cream, our home-made hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, chopped almonds and a cherry.
DH  raspberry and so his must do is: Foghorn --chocolate ice cream layered with hot fudge sauce, smothered with red raspberry topping and finished with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips.
And of course, we must stop in the candy shoppe and get our free taste of chocolate caramel.      | |

I was not impressed here. It was pretty darn busy when I went. My sis and I both ordered hot fudge sundaes. It took so long to get them that the ice cream was half melted. Blech!
I would give them another shot if there was not a line, but not if it was at all busy. However, I've decided to check out Beaches and Cream instead on my next trip! | |

The hot chocolate is to die for! It's like they melted a chocolate bar and added whipped cream. But I'm not supposed to be thinking along these lines, since I'm trying to shape up for our September trip (apples, not chocolate; apples, not chocolate!). | |
