OK - I am either a little slow or I have just not been in tune to this - but could someone explain the Disney Dining Experience to me? Do I need to have an AP in order to get this perk? Is there a charge for this perk even if I do have an AP? And......exactly what does this perk entitle me? I guess I am feeling a little stupid here...

but now I am beginning to wonder if this is something I should have for our trip in April. Is there a place that tells me everything I need to know about the DDE???? I went on to the Disney web site and found very little - and it really wasn't called the DDE. I have 1 PS for every day that we are there - would being a DDE holder help me out with these costs? Thanks for any help and info you can give. And sorry -

There's a great DDE FAQ on AllEarsNet.com.

Basically, you get 20% off food and beverage at a number of places. Before, you could only get one if you were a Florida resident but now AP holders can get the card.

-- General Membership: $75.00
-- Annual/Seasonal Passholders' Rate: $50.00
-- Renewals: $60.00 (for existing memberships received within 30 days of expiration date)
-- Members must be 21 years of age or older

You can also get a half-price admission to Pleasure Island for cardholder (hard-ticket admission excluded) and ONE (1) guest. The ticket is only valid on the same day.
