| Harder to get larger party PS at PSB? Anyone who has been following my Magical Gatherings saga will snicker here LOL I'm coming up on my PS call dates but I won't know for sure if my sis and her family will definitely be joining us til mid-April. So, I've made a Plan A (just the 4 of us) and a Plan B (the 7 of us) and will have to make PSs accordingly (no wonder my head is pounding! LOL).
My question is regarding the PSB in Epcot. I promised the girls I'd try for this meal this trip and will be calling for our 2nd day there (our 1st morning is booked with the Family Magic Tour). My sis may or may not be there on the 2nd day. Will it decrease my chances of getting a table at all if I ask for a table for 7? I can always change that to a table for 4 in April if need be, right? If it is hard to get a larger party at PSB, then I'd rather just shoot for a table for 4 and deal with meeting my sis afterwards - don't want to miss out on the table altogether. My sis is neutral about going to PSB - could take it or leave it.
Any BTDT large parties at PSB? Thanks as always! |

| Re: Harder to get larger party PS at PSB? Hi Val,
Why not just try for the table for seven if they can't do it ask for the table for four. Al they can say is no and if your sis is not concerned about eating there you should be alright. If you do get the seven top you can just tell them that the others are not going to show up for it. They will be fine with that.

| Re: Harder to get larger party PS at PSB? Thank you, Bob. I think the problem I'm worried about is that getting a PS for PSB will be like getting one for CRT (BTDT! LOL) So I keep thinking that every second on the phone will count. If I ask for a table for 7 and they say "no", I'm going to lose out on the table for 4 I could have had, KWIM? Maybe getting PSB isn't like getting CRT anymore? I don't know. I probably will try for 7 and see what happens. I do have another morning in the trip that I could shoot for too. Just curious if others have eaten there with large parties. |

| Re: Harder to get larger party PS at PSB? Just tell them party of 7 - they will probably tell you that they will have to give you two tables any way! Then, if you need to, you can cancel one!
BTW - I have gone to PSB with a party of 5 and a party of 7 - both times, they told me I had 2 tables, that they would make sure were next to each other. When I got there - they had given us a table for 4 with a chair at the end (for our party of 5), and the second time (party of 7), we were at a large table, that was actual two tables pushed together right next to the door where the princesses came out. |

| Re: Harder to get larger party PS at PSB? They hold your CC for this meal now, so would they charge you the no show rate for the members of your group who aren't there?

| Re: Harder to get larger party PS at PSB? Thanks - I feel better knowing that it's not so difficult getting a PS for 7. As for the deposit, I believe there is a 48-hour cancellation policy and I would know about 5 weeks or so ahead of time whether my sister and her family are coming or not. But thank you for mentioning the deposit thing - I forgot that I would have to lay out a deposit for all of us! LOL |
