Dining Plan ?\'s - CP Dinner & Beaches & Cream

Just wnat to clarify these:

1) I cna use a table service crdit for the Candlelight Processiona Dinner Package, right? Also, I just call the regular Disney Dining line to book that?

2) Beaches & Cream counts as table service, not counter service, right? Even if you order at the takeout window?

Thanks! Never had any kind of dining package before, so I'm trying to figure it all out. I hope there's soemthing left to book for 12/10-14 as we just changed to a package. My sis and I are going on vacation next week, so our time right now is being taken up by that. We won't be able to really look and pick places for ADR's until we get back. Although I do hope to print out some menus to study on the plane ride back (5 hour flight on SWA, so we need something to do!)

Yes Beaches and Cream counts as counter and this is where i would NOT use my counter service, it isn't worth it. Hurricane Hannas serves the same exact food and it counts as Counter service, so we went there instead.
Go to Beaches for sundaes and pay out of pocket, that is what they are famous for, also can be very crowded if you don't time it right, especially on the weekends.

I don't know what the take out counts as, but we were just at Beaches and Cream in Aug. and when you go in and sit down, it counts as table service. Our waitress told us we could not order the onion rings or salad (don't know about other appetizers) as a side though, which was very odd. Every other sit down you could. I had to wonder if she just didn't know about the plan being we used it just after the free dining plan took effect. She said we could substitute the onion rings for the fries that came with our entrees for a dollar. Isn't that strange? I didn't question her though because we were there and at that point it just didn't matter. We wanted to save room for the (free) desserts which were wonderful. My advice is to inform your server you're on the plan before you order and ALWAYS ask what is included. It was surprising how different places had different rules. At some CS places, when told what we could and couldn't order, I was always very nice and would comment how it was at another place and a lot of the times, they'd say "oh, just take it and I'll ring it up as _____." (Example, at some CS the large milk counted at others it didn't. At some the bag of snack chips were small and at others the ones that were twice as big counted. Some it was all desserts, others only a select few. Very strange!) I think they were a little overwhelmed, too! It might be better now that the free dining offer has expired, too!

I think we'll just use a TS for the CP package (probably either Le Cellier or Teppanyaki if either are available 12/11) and just go to B&C to split a sundae, hopefully the Milky Way one!

good plan, pay out of pocket for the sundae, cause it will not be covered whether you sit down or take out.
