Special diets I have already made all my Advanced Seating reservations for my trip and the CM did make note of my childrens Celiac disease and gluten intolerance. Should I still call ahead to each restaurant and speak to the Chef or is mentioning it again as we are seated good enough? Anyone have any experience with this? We only recently found out our children have the disease so we are new to the whole thing. I read that Disney was very helpful with these situations.

Re: Special diets Some Passporters have reported great success calling the chefs or stopping in the day before to discuss any special needs. You might want to try that. Good luck and let us know how it goes for you. Eileen

Re: Special diets i just googled 'gluten disney' and came up with a lot of hits. i guess overall it's safe to go into a restaurant and mention it then but you might also want to call a day in advance. and i guess stay away from counter service locations (you can bring your own food into the parks).
