Special diets My family recently returned from WDW. It was our first trip there since my DS and DD were diagoned with Celiac disease. I had heard good things about how coorperative the Chef's would be to meet your needs but I must say that they far exceeded my expectations. My children were able to speak with the Chef's at all the restaurants, except in France and were able to eat foods they never have when we eat out. All of my following comments exclude France. If you have dietary restriction France is not the place to go. All the other restaurants had Tapioca rolls at all the dinners and they were fresh and hot. DS got to eat gluten free pizza that he said was the best he ever had. Everyone from the Chef's to the wait staff were awesome. My husband and I could totally relax because we knew they were going to be able to get something great to eat that wasn't going to make them sick at every meal including counter service meals. We had such a great time that we joined the DVC so we could enjoy many more years of worry free vacations. Disney is truly the greatest place on earth.

Re: Special diets My husband was diagnosed in May as a Celiac. He's doing great at home but eating out is a challenge. SO glad to hear they make it so easy. I had called about CRT looking to be a tough fit GF, but the chef called and said it's not a problem. Gotta love Disney! jodie

Re: Special diets DD has life-threatening allergies to dairy, egg, nut, and peanut. We LOVE going to WDW b/c she is able to safely eat just about anything there. The chefs are incredible at accomodating her needs. We feel very fortunate Disney has undertaken the efforts to keep her and many food allergic people safe!
