Where to have Thanksgiving Dinner We're going to be at WDW for Thanksgiving this year; arriving day before, then staying 11 days. In the past we've been at Give Kids for Thanksgiving dinner. But this year we want to be at WDW -- either parks or resorts, doesn't matter. What do you think is a GREAT Thanksgiving Night Dinner?

Re: Where to have Thanksgiving Dinner IMHO, the ONLY place to have Thanksgiving Dinner at WDW is Liberty Tree Tavern!!! But you better be prepared to make your ADR exactly 180 days out because it is very popular!! I got it both times we went, but had to take what I could get the first time and kept trying and trying until I finally got LTT. It is wonderful. It has the early American decor, the food is traditional Thanksgiving fare, and if you can snag a dinner time, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale will attend your Thanksgiving feast! It was great. Of course, I think every place will have a Thanksgiving menu, but the decor sets LTT apart for our family.

Re: Where to have Thanksgiving Dinner We went to WDW this past Thanksgiving and had Thanksgiving dinner at 'Ohanas (in the Poynesian Resort). We didnt make reservations early enough to dine in one of the parks, but 'Ohanas was awsome because we had a great view of Cinderellas Castle!

Re: Where to have Thanksgiving Dinner We went in 2005 for Thanksgiving. I wanted LTT but was unable to get it. So, we ended up at Garden Grille in Epcot for an 11 am reservation. It was perfect. We were the first people seated in the restaurant for the day and within moments, here came Mickey. My almost three year old was totally star struck. We had a LOT of one on one character time - Mickey, Chip and Dale and Pluto. It was not overly crowded that early and the food was fantastic. By about 11:45 - the restaurant was totally full of other Thanksgiving diners. We had a great experience. Next time we'll try to get LTT again, but if you can't, Garden Grille is a great back up plan!!

Re: Where to have Thanksgiving Dinner LTT is great! But we did Artist Point (WL) in 2003 and it was great!! Very traditional and very very yummy!!! WDW Dining can give you an idea of menu's in the past, but expect traditional food...turkey stuffing, bread, veggies, cranberries and the like. It was a great dinner!

Re: Where to have Thanksgiving Dinner We were in WDW over Thanksgiving 2004. We had a FUN dinner at Chef Mickey's. I called my family to brag that we were having Thanksgiving dinner with Mickey when Dale came and stole my cell phone and "talked" with my mom. She was so confused when I finally got my phone back and explained to her what had happened. The food was good and the characters were really great that night!

Re: Where to have Thanksgiving Dinner We did the Princess Storybook Dinner at Akershus and it was awesome! We got the traditional Turkey and Mashed potatoes which was great for me because I didn't think I would be into Norwegian food. They also had soy ice cream for my son who is allergic to milk! Getting to see the princesses was great too! It wasn't crowded at all.
