Grand Floridian Restaurants I would like to know if the restaurants at the Grand Floridian are worth the prices. Are there any "lower-priced" eateries at the Grand Floridian. We will be staying there later this month (compliments of my hubby's company

| Re: Grand Floridian Restaurants What company is this? He sure picked a good place to work, LOL! The Grand Floridian has 3 top notch (and expensive) restaurants: Victoria & Alberts, Citricos, and Narcossee's. All of these (particularly Victoria & Alberts), are worth a try if you (or your expense account As far as inexpensive retaurants, there are 3 as well: 1900 Park Faire, a character buffet, is about $25 per person($20 at breakfast), all you can eat. The Grand Floridian Cafe has entrees in the $10 range (appetizers $6). Gasparilla Grill and Games is the fast food option, with meals at $5. You can always eat in the parks, Downtown Disney, or another resort as well for more selection. I hope this helps! Have a great time! | Re: Grand Floridian Restaurants dixiegirl, Jacquelyn has summed it up perfectly! Gasparilla Grill and Games was a great spot for a quick breakfast before the parks! Excellent for a fast lunch or anytime snack (they never close)! The Grand Floridian Cafe is perfect for a quiet lunch or dinner! One wall of this long Cafe is all windows overlooking the grounds! Very bright & cheery! Hands down Victoria & Alberts is the best dinning you can find anywhere in the "World"! If your really feeling extravagant try for the "Chefs Table". A private table in the kitchen where the chef prepares a meal perfectly selected for you! Watch them prepare the food, talk to the chefs, and be totally spoiled! Have a great time! ------------------ WildForWD ...you must face the age of not believing ...until at last you start believing there's something wonderful in you!! WildForWD |

Re: Grand Floridian Restaurants I have eaten there many times. A lot of the times we would grab breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe and it was ALWAYS great. Especially the strawberry smoothies they have. When my husband and I went and stayed at CBR, we did manage to get over there for lunch one day, with no complaints. I have also eaten a number of times at Narcoosee's, before and after the management change. Still a wonderful view and delicious food!

Re: Grand Floridian Restaurants We ate at Citricos and the food was good, but unfortunately we had a really bad waiter. I don't know if that's because we both look too young to be a good tipper or something, but he defintely was paying attn more to the 10 people-with-suits-and-dresses table than ours. I was really peeved! Anyways, enough of my yammering. Bottom line, food is good, price is OK (pricey side), but service is BLAH!

Re: Grand Floridian Restaurants Narcoossee's, while a bit pricey, is top notch. Has great beef and seafood (both cooked to perfection) and a location that can't be beat. It sits down on the water, detached from the GF main building, with a view of MK across the lagoon. We'll be back for sure.
