| Can you? Sure! Are you suppose to? NO! Actually on some mugs the phrase "Refillable only at location purchased" & "Free refills until the end of your stay"

| Lots of people do this, but the official rule is: Refillable mug good for unlimited refills at resort purchased ONLY for duration of stay in which purchased. The resorts used to have individually themed mugs; now there's only one generic picture on the mugs. Perhaps Disney's way of cutting down on people who are reusing them? I've seen people use old mugs while at POFQ; they weren't stopped but there are signs posted by the beverage machines as well as the rule is printed on the mug under the handle. |

| I think too they change the designs on the mugs from year to year so if you have an old style mug, it might stick out and be noticed easier.

| Nope, you can not use mugs from a previous trip to fill at the food court fountain. The mug is only good for the stay of the trip it was purchased during.

| That's what I thought, but I was thinking if the mugs were exactly the same....they'd have no way of distinguishing if you just bought it or bought it the last trip.

| I think it's a matter of honesty; they have the rules up there, but folks often ignore them and rationalize using old mugs -- 'they make a fortune on the soda and don't pay much' or 'I didn't really get $12 worth of soda last trip'. I figure either buy the new one each trip or buy my own soda and bring it to the pool (or coffee in the am, etc).

| I have a large mug from a gas station that I used instead of me resort mug, but I did buy one that trip and took it w/ me to the counter when I filled my bigger mug. The kids and I share and it kept me from having to return to fill the smaller one three or four times in one sitting. As for reusing a mug I had previously purchased, I think I would feel awfuly guilty...

| The rule is that the refillable mug is to be used for the duration of that trip only. I really enjoy buying a new mug, they make great souveniers and keeps my tea nice and hot at work.

| No you can't. They changed the design for all of the resorts to have a mug with the Year of a Million Dreams promotion.

| DH asked me this year why we had to buy new mugs when he saw people with the old mugs we had at home. I told him because we are rule followers and your DW loves the new mug. I use my every day to have my morning cup of sanity and I get a little disney fix every morning! And as silly as it sounds I started changing resorts just to get a different themed mug! |

| Your Disney resort mug is only good on the trip you purchased it on. Yes, the design could be the same when you go back (it was for me three times at Pop) but the honest thing to do is buy a new mug.

| like others have said, it's a different mug now--- all resorts have the same mug and it says 2007 on it. I'm guessing since most people don't go twice in one year, it cuts down on being able to use the same mug for several trips. It's probably better for them to have one mug for every resort, but different mugs for each year. That being said, I still saw people use the old POFQ mugs last week, and it didnt' seem as though they were being prohibited from doing so--- so you probably still can use it, but whether or not you'd want to is a personal decision. |

| I know we got our money's worth the first time, so I wouldn't hesitate buying a new one, even if we did have an old one at home.
