Question Garden Grove Character Dining @ The Swan

Has anyone done the Garden Grove Character Dining at The Swan? I just noticed it on Disney's web site and wondered what characters are there and if the food is any good. What kind of prices do they have?

Thanks!

Avoid Garden Grove at all costs--Food Poisioning

DON'T DO IT!!! We just returned from a trip to Disney, dining at Garden Grove April 17th, 2008. The buffet was Bar B Que, overpriced at $23.99 per adult, not on a Disney dining plan, and EVERY adult in our party got FOOD POISIONING, ruining our trip. Only my daughter (who turned 7 that DAY, which is why we chose the restaurant in the first place) was spared as she ate off of a different buffet. I would NEVER ever recommend it. Also the characters make one photo op round and are GONE, the service below par. This is absolutely NOT worth an investment of your vacation dollars.

Good luck

PS May 21, 2008--I do want to update and say that I did report the incident to the Garden Grove and had a very positive feedback from their personnel. They obtained specific details and were thorough in their reponse to my notification. So I am most appreciative of their concern and of course we look forward to a return visit to the World.

ewww... sorry that you got sick...we have had our share of trouble from the buffets also. Needless to say we do not leave home without Immodium and Pepto. We have since decided that we will forego some of the buffets.

We had two dinners there. We enjoyed the food the first night - seafood buffet on a friday with Timon and Rafiki, but not the second time on a Monday which was mediocre although we didn't get sick.

As buffets go, Boma is absolutely wonderful, but no characters!
