Donalds Breakfasosaurus...

ugh...I"m sure I spelled that wrong! LOL!
I'm getting ready to call for a PS for breakfast...any suggestions for a time? Is it better to get there for 8 or is it better to get there when the park opens, run and do the safari and then go eat? I'll be there with DBF and we don't have kids. We'll also be coming from the CBR using Disney transportation (we're not renting a car).
Thanks for any help!!
Kelly

Re: Donalds Breakfasosaurus...

Here's another option, Kelly. Since DH and I are "child-free" too, we usually book for a later PS because it tends to be quieter. Most families have already finished and gone on to enjoy the park, and it also means we don't have to worry about transporation (we don't rent a car either). Also, FYI, we usually get very good interaction with the characters by doing it that way.

Whatever way you book it, you're going to have a great time. It's one of the best!

Re: Donalds Breakfasosaurus...

What we did last time and will probably do again this time around is to get to the park right at opening and go straight to the Safari. We made our PS for Breakfastasaurous at around 10:30am - 11:00am and had 'brunch' instead of breakfast. This way we could ride the safari and then take our time traveling back through the Oasis and Discovery Island to get to our meal.

Worked out great for us

Re: Donalds Breakfasosaurus...

We always do the late deal like MLAnsell, 10:30 or 10:45. We hit AK early, last December 30 we did Dinosaur, Kilamanjaro Safari, ITTBAB and Primevil Whirl all before our meal. When we eat this late, we just get a snack(no real Lunch) and a nice dinner. It really works our well. We do get coffee and something small in am before we tour.

Re: Donalds Breakfasosaurus...

My DH and I did the first PS time and were able to open the place up. We had about 10 min. of individual time because we received "Disney's Magical Moment" for that morning. It was really awesome because we were able to get several group photos with all of the characters. After we ate we went right over to Kilimanjaro Safari and rode with very little wait.

Re: Donalds Breakfasosaurus...

Doing the latest PS possible sounds like a good idea to me, too, I think we just might do this. However, a couple of you say you made PS for 10:30 - 10:45ish, which sounds perfect to me - but looking at the wdwig.com menu section it says the buffet there ends at 10. Can you still make PS arrangements for later? TIA

It was less crowded and we didn't have lunch that day. We went on quite a few rides before our PS time. Plan to do it again in December.

Re: Donalds Breakfasosaurus...

Hi there,

We did a 10AM reservation for this and it worked out well. So when we got to the park we went right to the safari and walked right on, and then we went and had the breakfast which was very yummy. The place was crowded, but not to the point where we didn't enjoy it.

Hope that helps!
