Dessert Selections

Hello,

I am curious if you have a favorite dessert at Disneyworld that you always like to get. I try to get something different every time.

Hi!

My favorite is the Kileau Torte at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian! Oh my god! It is sinful!

Re: Dessert Selections

I have a couple, one is an Ice Cream cookie sandwich from the main street bakery. I also loved the Apple pie from the Whispering Caynon Cafe and the Chocolate cake I had at Le Cellier.

I just love Dessert and never had a bad one especially at Disney

Re: Dessert Selections

My two fave desserts at Disney World so far are the white chocolate cheesecake at the Brown Derby and zebra domes at Boma. I'm eagerly looking forward to trying the berry cobbler at Artist Point on our next trip.

Re: Dessert Selections

I am a big ice cream lover and I once had the most wonderful sundae at the Plaza in MK. It probably ranks highest until the day I get to Beaches and Cream for the "kitchen sink.."

Re: Dessert Selections

I adore the coconut tiramisu at Boma.
and the S'mores at 50's PT Cafe come in second.

Dole Whip doesn't count as a dessert. I rarely eat it as the end to a meal. I tend to fit them in whenever time and stomach allows.

Re: Dessert Selections

On the run it's gotta be a Dole Whip, but I think that the Berry Cobbler at Artist Point has to be the best dessert creation - and that's coming from a big time chocolate fan here.

Re: Dessert Selections

I had an awesome chocolate chip ice cream cookie sandwich at the Animal Kingdom. Yum! The cookies were still warm. That one is high on the list, as are dole whips, and the smores from 50's Prime Time Cafe.

Heck, it's all good.

Re: Dessert Selections

There are a few......

Jiko: Tanzanian Chocolate Candies -- dark chocolate filled beggar's purses with white chocolate and orange "Van der hume" dipping sauce.

Pistachio Creme Brulee with layered chocolate bottom.

Flying Fish: Warm Valrhona Chocolate Soufflé Cake

Le Cellier: Chocolate Moose!!

Well there's a couple more but I can't remember where I had them .

Re: Dessert Selections

I haven't been in a few years so there are some restaurants that I have never dined at like anything at AKL. But my current favorites are, the chocoalte/coconut icecream dessert at 'Ohana, and their pineapple with caramel as well.

And Key Lime Pie all over the place. I remember that a Bonfamille (hope I spelled that right) at POR used to have the best.
