Talking advice for adrs uhh

Ok I previously told you all my hopefully adrs ( i call in the 3rd) this is what i had for day one

arriving around 1 at the airport hopefully be to the room in a hour or so (dme has always done us right) and then have dinner at rfc in ak but someone suggested that we have dinner in our hotel akl at boma or jiko and enjoy our hotel and rest and get a early start the next day for ak

suggestions??
should i
A. eat at the hotel and enjoy the hotel and if we want to go into ak for a while do it since we have park passes that day
or
B. make my ressie at rfc around 4 and cruise the park
dont know which one to do both sound good

I would choose A. That way you can go to the park if you want to, but you don't have to if you don't feel like it.

Remember the AK closes earlier than the other parks, so getting to your hotel at 2pm or so and eating at 4pm would leave you a little time in AK, but not much. I don't know for sure but from what I have learned the AKL is a sight to behold in itself.(plan on touring it in sept when we go next time). I am older and these days it seems getting from one place to another with the airlines is such an ordeal we normally plan on eating at our hotel, tour it and the grounds and then get a fresh start the next day. But whatever you decide have fun and enjoy!!

I have eaten at both Boma and RFC and would choose Boma every time! AKL is an amazing resort. You will it there! You're going in July when it is going to be hot so if it were me I would check in and spend the day at the resort with dinner at Boma. I might head over to what ever park has EEMH if I felt like it, but I also might just relax and enjoy AKL.

I would definitely go with Option A for multiple reasons. Firstly, you can't count on your room being ready until 3 p.m. so, if you want to get unpacked and settle in first, then not having to make a 4 p.m. ressie would be a big plus. Secondly, Boma is a far better dining experience, IMHO, than the Rainforest Cafe. And you can use the extra time to explore Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is an amazing place to be. You can check out the storytelling at the firepit and the nightvision animal viewing on the savanna. The pool (except for the slide) and the hot tubs are open 24/7 at AKL so you can spend some time enjoying those as well. Also, if you do decide to visit a park that evening after dinner, then I recommend something other than Animal Kingdom since it closes the earliest.

I would go with option A as well. Boma is a great restaurant and it will be more relaxing to know that you're eating at your hotel on your first night and don't HAVE to go anywhere.

I also would go with option A. You can spend the afternoon getting oriented and touring the hotel - there's so much to see. They have a wonderful, comfortable lobby area and, when we were there at the beginning of December, every afternoon, they set up a craft area for the children.

I would go with option A. When we arrive its around 1pm by the time we land in Orlando take the DME to our hotel and get checked in. We have a late lunch at our hotel then walk around our hotel and go swimming, shopping in the resort and get a good nights rest because it's gonna be a busy week.

I'm not a big fan of RFC, and love Boma. I would relax & unpack at your resort, then have an earlyish dinner (5pm ish) at Boma then head to whatever park has EMH.

I would chose A - the AKL is such a beautiful resort and the food at Boma and Jiko's are both great from what I heard...

I would enjoy the resort, relax and enjoy a meal there and start off the next day fresh and rested.
