Red face 7/3 or 7/4 dinner at Boardwalk or Poly

Would like to see fireworks on either night 7/3 or 7/4 - have 3 kids ( 8, 10, 12). What do you recommend? Or do we really go into one of the parks? Leaning toward epcot if we do - any restaurants recommended in epcot then - we have never reserved dinner anywhere inside - thank you!

Alll the good restarurants at Epcot are probably booked already. If you want to skip the parks, watch from the beach at Poly or GF, then get on the monorail to TTC

Hi and welcome to the boards!

I think to see the fireworks at Epcot, you really do need to be in the park. Our favourite restaurants in the park include Teppan Edo, Marrakesh, Biergarten and Chefs de France. If you go for any of those, be sure to schedule your meal early enough so that you can eat and then grab a spot to watch the fireworks.

As for Wishes, you can get a great view of it from 'Ohana and I can thoroughly recommend it for dinner - it's awesome. Obviously, try and schedule your dinner around the time of Wishes, but I would go for an hour early, as if you try and cut it any closer, you'll probably find people hanging on to their tables to watch it and you may not get seated until after the show.

All the fireworks shows are best viewed in the parks themselves, but Wishes does lend itself to out of park viewing a little better. Ohana's great, if you can still get in. It tends to fill up fast. You can also watch MK fireworks from the California Grill, but that has the same problem. You can always dine at Kona Cafe in the Poly and then watch the fireworks from the beach.

If you want to see the fireworks in Epcot from your table, Rose and Crown in the UK offers some outdoor seating that allows for that, but they can't promise an outdoor spot. You can eat at any of the World Showcase restaurants and then see the fireworks from the lagoon after dinner. I recommend making your dining time 2 hours prior to the fireworks, and then after dinner find a prime spot to watch and just take a load off until the show starts.
