| We always go to Chef Mickey's and LOVE it!!! We're going to try LTT this year but without the character meal. Wonder if it is worth it without the character meal?

| LTT is located in MK, so if you want more time to play int he parks, I would eat there. CM is at The Contemporary, so if you want to get out of the parks, ride the monorail and walk around the resort, I woudl eat there. To me, the food is equivalent... I'd the major difference is that Mickey is available to meet at Chef Mickey, and he is not available to meet at LTT.

| I really enjoy both restaurants and have done them both countless times and enjoyed each experience. That said, in this case, I would choose the LTT so I was right inside the MK and didn't have to worry about transportation. Eileen

| Definitely Liberty Tree Tavern. You couldn't pay me to go back to Chef Mickey's.

| In my opinion, Chef mickey's is such a better experience. The food is fun, creative, and delicious. If you are traveling with kids, they'll love the dance party during your meal. Either way, you'll have fun. Also, if you want to eat at the Magic Kingdom for a character meal, I really liked the food at the Crystal Palace. You don't get Mickey and his friends, but the Winnie the Pooh is great, too. Good luck on your decision!!!

| We always do both places on vacation. The only edge I'd give to CM's is the buffet selection, if you have picky eaters and need more variety than LTT has to offer for dinner.

| Our family loves both restaurants a lot. We tend to do Chef Mickey's every trip as it is our DD's favorite of the two. She loves the party atmosphere of CM, but she has good character interaction at both. She also likes the food choices on the buffet a little better than the family style of LTT. I'm actually a little sad that we've not chosen LTT for our trip next month, but there is always next year.

| Between the 2 choices, I would choose CM! Having 3 DSs with very different appetites, the buffet is great! But as others above have reccommended, I would choose Crystal Palace at MK for a character meal!

| I vote for Chef Mickey's but that is JMO...Chef Mickey's is a tradition for my family & we always eat there our first day/night...nothing gets our vacation started like a good dose of Mickey! |

| I have eaten at both restaurants on numerous occasions. At Chef Mickey's, I've had varying experiences from excellent to terrible. If you do choose Chef Mickey's, be sure to get an early dining time. On one occasion we ate here later in the evening and it was a disaster - most of the supposedly hot food items on the buffet were cold and they had run out of several of the offerings. Also make sure to ask for seats in the main dining area and not in one of the anterooms. It has been my experience when seated there, particularly if later in the evening, that not all the characters make their way back to those outlying rooms. At the Liberty Tree Tavern on the other hand, I've always had wonderful experiences with great service, wonderful character interaction and excellent food. Although there may be more choices in a buffet setting than the family-style serving done here, the array of food you're served is still very satisfying plus you don't run the risk of missing characters while you're up at the buffet table. It's so much more relaxing to sit there and let the food come to you. I would definitely choose Liberty Tree Tavern over Chef Mickey's. Joy

| We have seen Donald at Chef Mickey's, but not every time we have eaten there. I think he is only on the one side though (you have to walk over to see him) because of the size of his rear end, lol. At least that is what a CM told us. |
