| Finally, my ADR's.. I hope I don't change them again BF and I are going to Disneyworld for the 1st time in August till first week of Sept.. 9 days and I am so excited.. this vacation almost did not happen because I was too excited and it was driving BF nuts... I can be a bit over-bearing but hey, I am the planner of this vacation!!! I read through four travel books before finally deciding which hotel to stay at, and the hardest part for me, which restaurants to go to.. I have lurked in the forum for awhile, reading patiently what other members say about the different restaurants..I have made several changes to the ADR's and I am tired of having to call almost daily just to cancel and then re-book again the same restaurant at a later time. I didn't realize how choosing the restaurants can be so time-consuming.. We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside and will be roaming Disney by the end of Aug.. we also plan on going to Universal Studios and doing other touristy things in Florida because we have never been there.. Well, after all the frequent changes, I have decided on the following places for feasting.. Aug 29-dinner: House of Blues Aug 30-lunch: Restaurant Marrakesh Aug 30-dinner: Biergarten (but only because I cannot book for Le Cellier, I have called more than 5x, and it is all booked) Aug 31--dinner: Mama Melrose's Ristorante Sept. 1-dinner: Yak & Yeti Sept. 2-dinner: Liberty Tree Tavern Sept. 3-breakfast: Cape May Cafe Sept. 5-dinner: Yachtsman Steakhouse Sept. 6-lunch: Kona Cafe Any comments and feedback on your experiences are welcome, especially if you have been there recently...I just do not want to have to redo my ADR's again.. I have called multiple times already and they keep messing with my reservations so I just do not want to have them make any more errors... Thanks to all.. |

| Welcome to the Boards!!! You made some great food choices. Have a wonderful time. My tip to the 1st timer: don't get caught up in getting EVERYTHING done. Enjoy what it is that you CAN do. In other words, take time to smell the Mickey Bars, the turkey legs, the churros, the pastries from around the World Showcase, etc etc etc... Last edited by GinaButtrfly; 06-16-2008 at 06:39 AM.. |

| Hey, those are all great choices. I agree with gina...take time to smell/taste the other stuff available when cruising around the parks. i personally never visit MK without some sort of visit to Pecos Bill and usually hit Electric Umbrella and EC. Port Orleans is a great resort...I have stayed there twice. Their food courts (at riverside and over at french quarter...you can walk the path to get there!) are also good options for the morning. have a very great time! |

| I think you made some great choices - a little of everything including character meals, meals in all parks, and some at the resorts so you'll get to see and try lots of different places. ![]() My advice to you would be to try and not change anything anymore! Give them all a try this trip. You can always discard or add other restaurants on future trips. It's half the fun! I know it's hard to not second-guess yourself, but I think your choices are really good. Plus you won't drive BF !![]() ![]()

| Welcome to the boards...I think you plans look great and that you have gotten some really good advice so far.... Don'ty try to do everything, take time to enjoy and try not to second guess your choices (that is my bad habit until I lock my planning book up Whatever you don't get to try this trip you will do on another trip....plus I think you will love POR, it's a beautiful resort.

| Welcome to the boards!! And don't feel bad about all the changes you have made. I have made so many changes to our ADR's that the last CM I spoke to laughed at me and told me that she was going to note on my reservation that I am not allowed to change anymore. She was joking of course, but that is how bad I got!! You will have a great trip!! And you picked really good places!! |
