| Tell me about the Fantasmic dinner package :) I have been to the Fantasmic show many times and I really enjoy it. I have often said to my little self, that when the time is right I would like to try the Fantasmic dinner package. I believe you can pick from 3 Restaurants. I think I will go for the cheapest Restaurant and pick a time that is way before the Fantasmic show. If this is all you can eat and drink in this package, well I don't like to drink too much right before a 30 minute show ![]() Anyways if anyone has any information, tips and so on, I will be very happy

| You can chose Mama Melrose, The Brown Derby or Hollywood & Vine. You get a voucher at dinner that you present at a separate entrance before the show. The good thing is you don't have to wait in line - you go to the special entrance 30 minutes before the show starts, walk right in and you get to sit in reserved section. The seats are not the best in the house - far right section as you face the stage, but it sure beats waiting

| I called Disney dining and the said if you book a Fantasmic dinner package and the show gets canceled, that Disney does not make it up to you? I am going to call again, because that does not seem right. Because part of what you are paying for is to get into the show early. I think they should at least give you part of your money back or something.

| That's correct. If the show is canceled, you're out of luck. The tradeoff for Disney is they get a guaranteed dinner booking

| Yes I might not book this fantasmic package, because of this. I called Disney dining again and got another lady and one of the things that she said was the and it says the Fantasmic dinner package for Hollywood & Vine is $26.99 during the time when they have the standard price. I am going to call Hollywood and Vine and see if it's the same price if you just go to their dinner buffet without the Fantasmic package. If it's more money I think I will skip the Fantasmic package, because I hate to pay for sometime extra if I can't use it.

| I called Disney Dining again to see if they could give me the price at Hollywood & Vine without the fantasmic package. I was told the dinner fantasmic package at Hollywood & Vine is $28.99 and if I just had dinner there without the fantasmic package it would still be $28.99. $28.99 might be the price for when some dining prices are higher in Disney like on the 4th of July and Christmas. Like I said in my other post, another lady said it's $26.99. Well in any case if it's the same price with or without the fantasmic package, I don't have to worry about not getting what I paid for

| At Hollywood and Vine, the price is the same with or without the Fantasmic package, so the only "downside" to the package is that you might need to eat earlier than typical times for dinner. However, if you want to eat early anyhow, that won't be a problem for you. Enjoy! Melissa

Also I will be going to the character breakfast at Hollywood & Vine in October and that will be fun. Hollywood & Vine has characters for breakfast and lunch, but not for dinner. After I have fun with the characters at Hollywood & Vine, I want to dine there for their dinner without the characters so I can enjoy it both ways. Like with Cape May I love their character breakfast and I go there all the time. For dinner that Cape May does not have characters and I would love to go there for the dinner so I can enjoy Cape May both ways.

| I went with the cheapest too, H&V, but it was our least favorite meal. I think next time I'd try Mama melrose.
