| Hello all! I was wondering if disney charges my credit card right away when I make reservations for this? Or do they wait until we actually attend? Just wondering...Thinking about surprising my girls with this in December. Would any of you recommend doing this?? Thanks! Ginger

| It will be charged prior to you arriving . . . if you need to cancel, they will refund the cost as long as you do so at least 72 hours prior. ![]()

| Brooke and I did this when she was 3 and we absolutely loved it! In fact, she wore the charm bracelet she got there today She plays with the doll all the time still, too.

| I am thinking it is like an american girl doll, but not 100% sure. I really want to take my girls, but we may do it next time since we are going to MVMCP. That adds a bit to the budget! We'll see what happens. I know that they would really enjoy it.

| We went two years ago. The doll is a slight bit larger than the American Girl doll (the AG clothes do not fit on it). The doll is sold in the parks and you can buy clothes there, too. Brooke gets a new outfit for her Disney doll each trip.

| Just remember - you're going for the memories you get spending the time with your DD. The food is nothing special. The show with Rose Petal is beautiful and fun, seeing all the little princesses all dressed up, having a grown-up tea party, watching Aurora/Sleeping Beauty with each girl (she goes table to table and you have time to chat for a minute or two and get pictures with her) is what it's all about. The dolls are seated at each table when you arrive, they 'announce' each little girl as Princess (name) and their royal family, and the charm bracelet is wrapped up in their napkin. It really is a special time at WDW Brooke and I will remember forever ![]()

| Thanks for the information and the pictures! Love the pic with both the Disney doll and the American doll. Ask and you shall receive!! That really makes me want to do this!! This looks like such a fun time! It is a bit pricey for our family (we already have ADR's and this will add a good bit). This can't be included in Disney Dining? Well, OK just kidding (sort of...) Do you think it is worth $250? I think the price was raised - I have seen the price as $225 also but think it was raised. We are also doing CRT and Akerhaus. But niether of those is AS special as this. I definitely wanted to do something special with just DD (maybe while DH and older brothers are riding big rides). Are the Disney Dolls available for sale elsewhere in the Park? Maybe it is too late to get a ressie...should I call tomorrow? Thanks for your help!! Who knew planning was so HARD? (And fun!!)

| It is a special mommy/daughter thing for us. DH and DS went off and did their thing for awhile, too. If you've got CRT and Akershus maybe you could plan it for next trip? It is pricey and a lot of people think it's too much. For me, again, it was all about the memories. I can't even begin to tell you what I was feeling, looking across the tea table at Brooke, in her Sleeping Beauty dress, drinking out of her little teacup with her pinky sticking out, and doll beside her. She looked back at me and said, 'this is so special, huh mommy? I love you so much!' I still get goosebumps! You may be able to get ressies and if you do want to go I'd try ASAP. The doll is available at DTD for sure at the World of Disney Store. Not sure where else but I'm sure it is. We got an outfit one year in Tink's Treasures at MK and the probably had the doll, too but since I wasn't looking for it I didn't notice.
