Club level: do you make your own ADR's?

Our December trip will be our first stay ever in club-level accomodations. Should I let Itinerary Planing make my ADR's, or do it myself to make sure I get what I want?

Can Itinerary Planing make ADR's earlier than 90 days, thereby ensuring I'll get my first choices?

Thanks!

Completely up to you, but I would recommend making them yourself.

Sometimes things do happen, and wrong dates/times can be booked. If you would rather someone do it for you, then by all means go for it, but I have seen several mistakes made in the past!

I like using the IPO staff for some of the harder-to-get ADRs (apparently, some are specially reserved for the IPO staff to snag.)

I think I'd do a mix -- let them do the harder stuff and then do the others myself.

As far as I know, they do not book them earlier than the 90-day mark....

We are staying CL for the 1st time in September, at AKL.

At 1st I was going to make all our ADR's myself, I have a A type personality.

But after I contacted the IPO office by email, just to introduce ourselves, I was quite surprised how supportive they seemed of our trip. They were quick to reply to our questions and even volunteered to help make our ADR's for the three nights prior to our CL AKL stay.

So last Saturday I emailed our final list of ADR's with date, resaturant, # of people, and ages of kids. And called with our credit card #. They emailed me a sheet back describing all our requested ADR's that we want, so I could double check the times and dates. The sheet described each restaurant or experience so we know when to show up and what to do, for ex. BBB, Wonderland Tea Party, CRT.

I decided to let them do it for me, for two reasons, 1) it seems to be harder to get through to Disney Dining, 2) with free dining in September, it will probably be even harder to get ADR's.

I am very confident they will do their best to make our trip wonderful. They can make our ADR's for us on June 16. I will let you know how it goes.

We're going in a couple weeks and I had them do all mine. They got us into everything we wanted at the time I requested. The only exception was the Fantasmic! dining package - nothing available at any of the places. (Although from reading on here that might not be a bad thing.) They did miss one originally, but got it for a time just 15 minutes after the time I requested.

With all the waiting time I've been hearing people have when they make ADRs, why not let someone else do it for you?

We stayed CL last September (wish I could afford to do it again) and they were spot on with everything.

I make ours, but if I can't get a place or time that we want I contact them and they will watch it for me. I let them make our fireworks cruises though. Also a few years ago I made a mistake and we missed a ressie. I contacted our conceirge staff and they got us into Chef Mickeys for dinner. We were staying at the Poly and be the time we rode the monorail to the resort our table was ready. We staying club level!!!!

I'm glad to find this thread because I've been asking myself the same question. We'll be staying CL at GF in January and this is the first time I've had the opportunity to use IPO (the other times we stayed CL it was a surprise).

I'm the type that doesn't like to give up control so I'm a little scared of relying on someone else to make our ADRs. Like what if they forget about me on the morning our ADR window opens?? But on the other hand I feel like I want to "surrender to the process" because it's part of the nice experience of staying CL.

If anyone who's worked with GF IPO specifically cares to put my mind at ease I'd appreciate it.

I am staying CL at AKL in Feb. and the IPO has been wonderful so far. They will make my ADRs on 10/27, so hopefully all will go well. I am a little nervous to give up that little bit of control, but also happy in a way....those hold times can be so crazy sometimes on the dining line.

I stayed Club Level in July and I did all my ADRs myself before I got there. I had some changes I wanted when there and then I went to the desk at Stone Harbor Club and had them do those.

We are staying CL for the first time this December. The Poly IPO took care of our ADR's and we got everything we wanted. (Even Le Cellier, which is what I was most nervous about.) I am a bit of a control freak, but it was really nice to have someone else do it this time, especially because all the stories of the erratic Disney Dining website had made me very anxious!

So relax and enjoy this great service!

We are staying CL at YC in August 2010. I will probably make my ADRs as soon as I book in December (now that we can do 180 days again). Mostly because some of our stay will be during the times they usually offer free dining so I don't wish to wait for 90 days and get caught out without the ADRs we want.

Now, if I find out that once it changes to 180 days they can do it when I book, I will contact them and have them do it...less long-distance charges for me...

I used WL IPO for our last 2 trips and they were great. They were able to get us CRT and Chef Mickey's even before the 90-day window opened!

I am a huge control freak and was nervous to give up this important task to someone else. But they just got me all the ADRs I wanted for our upcoming trip (staying at BC for the first time), including a fireworks cruise. A couple of days before our 90-day window opened, they emailed me a list of everything I had requested to make sure they had it right. I also gave them alternate dates if they couldn't get the fireworks cruise on the date I had requested, but explained that they would need to adjust our dining ADR times accordingly, which they confirmed with me again when I called to give my credit card # for the cruise.

Friday was 90 days out from our check-in date, and by the time I got to work, I had an email from the IPO with our itinerary. They got all the ADRs we wanted, including the fireworks cruise on the day we wanted and dinner at Le Cellier.

They have always been great about answering any questions and helping with any requests. And I was glad to not have to get up super-early to get online or call Disney Dining!
