We would love to try Le Cellier. We have heard it is wonderful but as yet, have not been able to to get a reservation. Anyone have some tips for getting in?

I got in by trying to book for the LAST night of our trip. This was the FIRST thing I booked on the morning of our 90 day mark.

(We were just there July 30th and it was very good!)

Welcome NButler!

Are you waiting for your 90 day mark to call, or are you inside the 90 days? Are you staying at a Disney resort? If yes to those, you've got a bit of an advantage to getting the things you want.

I got an ADR for Le Cellier with no problems at my 90-day mark. I was ready to call at 7 am on my date, and had already called the dining number as a "rehearsal" so I knew what to expect. I used the 90+10 advantage for on-site guests, and asked for Le Cellier about 6 days into my visit, so the date hadn't been open to anyone for very long (if that makes sense...). That was a suggestion from folks here, I wouldn't have thought of it. Also I looked for something fairly early, 5 pm. I got exactly what I was hoping for.

If you haven't a clue what I'm talking about, let me know and I'll try to explain. :-)

(You can also do it on-line starting at 6 am, a bit of a jump on the phone people, but I didn't have that option. The phone worked fine for me.)

I would say the best thing is to call as soon as you can start making your ADRs and schedule it for later in your trip, but be flexible as far as days go. It might also help to be up for either lunch or dinner, rather than stuck on just one or the other.

I agree with being flexible on the date you want to eat there, but also the times. If you go for less popular times, such as an early/late lunch or dinner, you may have more luck.

I used the strategy of using an unusual time and it worked for me - I got a 4pm ressie.

If you are already into your 90 day mark just call each day in the morning and the night. give them the dates you will be there and tell them any time between this date and this date and they can look to try to get you into it. it may not be at a time that is ideal for you, but if you want to eat there then take what ever you can get.

Good luck!!

That's what I did, and I got a reservation for the last night of my trip! It's at 8:50 pm though, which is a little late for dinner, but it's ok, I'm just happy I'm getting in at all! And I'm hoping if I get there around 8:30 they will be able to seat us a little earlier!

Thanks all. We have done several searches for any open time during our stay with no luck. Is it true they will only take parties of 3 or more? We have 4 this trip but usually it is just the two of us.

Try for a lunch ressie. We had a much easier time finding a ressie for lunch and if you can eat at an off time, like 3:00pm, you stand a better chance.

Nope, I have an ADR for just two. I called on my 90-day mark first thing in the morning and booked it first thing. If nothing else, try asking at the podium when you get there. You never know when someone might not show up.
