Restaurants on DDP 2010

I just saw the list of the restaurants signed on for the 2010 DDP and was so disappointed. I hear that this is normal and others will be added. Anyone know when? We are going January 16 and I want to make my ADRs October 18.

I would book your ADR's based on last years' list of participating restaurants. This is my plan too. From what I've heard some take as long as the end of the year before signing on. The list is very unlikely to change from what others have said and my memory from the past few years.

Most years the list isn't finalized until very close to the end of the year - or at least it isn't updated until then. For the past several years the participating restaurants have been virtually identical to the previous year's list. Of course there's no guarantee, but I'd do what carters_mom suggests and base your plans on last year's list.

Usually it is near the end of the year. The list has started pretty short when it is released and then by the end of the year it has a good selection.

If you're looking at a copy of Disney's official dining plan brochure (Disney often has a PDF available at its web site), look closely for the date of the brochure. It'll often carry a mm/yy-style date (07/09). That can tell you whether it's been recently updated, or perhaps is still the initial version for the year (which never contains all the restaurants on the final list). While the web is great for getting up-to-date info, not everything folks pass around is as up to date as it could be.

I'm with the others - work off previous years and book your ADRs regardless. The chances are that the restaurants that aren't listed now will be towards the end of the year.
