Illuminations while in a WS restaurant

I just made ADR's for Chefs de France and Tokyo Dining, different nights, both at 7:30pm. I'm not counting on seeing any of Illuminations from inside the restaurants, but I'm not sure because I've never been inside either one. Would we see anything if we're still eating?

You may be able to see them from Tokyo Dining. I think most of the tables can view the large windows across the 'front' of the restaurant.

Chefs de France has some window tables, but because they are at street level, I doubt you'd get much of a view except people's backsides.

You'll see a little from Tokyo Dining, very, very little from Chefs de France

Hmmm - I was wondering about that - thought about Rose and Crown -- anyone ever tried to see from there?

I've seen them from Rose and Crown. We had a patio table and a well-timed reservation. We requested both because it was our anniversary and they accommodated our request beautifully! It was a great view!

We usually watch from Japan. The launchers are closer to Rose and Crown and you can feel the concussions in your chest. Best place in WS to watch the show

We've watched from Rose & Crown. If you don't get a patio table (we didn't) your server will come and escort you out to a spot on their patio to watch, and will hold your meal. During our meal, Illuminations came in between courses.
