| DDP / Spirit of Aloha ???? We are going to Disney April 24-30 with the regular Dining Plan. On the dining plan you can reserve a Cat 2 or 3 table at the Spirit of Aloha Luau. Does anyone know if you can upgrade to a Cat 1 table and pay the balance out of pocket? It would only be an $18 difference and I would think it would be worth it. Thanks

| I don't have the answer, but that is a great question - one I have wondered about before myself. I'm thinking that it's not possible, but hopefully someone will come along with a definite. |

| I don't think it works that way. I think you have to pay for Cat. 1 at the time of your ADR... I may be wrong, I have been wrong a lot!

| My TA gave me a direct number to call to get info on that same question. We too are on the dining plan and could only book cat 3( all that was available) once I got through to a CM she told me that no, you can not just pay the difference.....however if we were to come early and they were not booked, they might be able to let us make the switch and pay the difference. So, we were going to just try our luck with that until last week I realized I had more dinning reservations than I did credits. So I switched to cat 1 for SOA and will just be paying OOP for that dinner. Hope this info helped a bit. And good luck. |

| Unfortunately, no, you can't pay the difference. However- if you are willing to go to the late 9PM show- you CAN use your dining credits for a Category 1. Hope that helps!

| The late show in April is at 8:00 pm. I will call and talk to a CM and see if we can use our dining credits for Cat 1 for that show. We were planning to go to the late show anyway. Thanks for the info Amedeers
