Escorted out?

I have recently discovered that I made an ADR @ LTT for 6:35 pm on a MVMCP night, and we don't have tickets to the party. I totally didn't realize it, and the CM taking my ADR's didn't mention it either. I tried to reschedule my ADR but every time is full.
I read on another board (forgive me) that people are being escorted out from the restaurant to the front gates to be sure folks don't linger at the party. While I can understand a friendly reminder to am-scray, I would be very embarrased to be walked out of the gates like I was trying to pull a fast one! Does anyone know how true this is?

Since the MVMCP doesn't officially begin until 7pm, I would think you should be okay. I would call guest relations and ask. I can't imagine them escorting you out at that time but I could see if some teenagers were trying to stay all night or something. If you do call, let us know what they say.

I had made a dinner reservation that was too early on the night we are planning to attend the MVMCP (but not spend the earlier part of the day in the park)... too bad it wasn't the same night we could have swapped, lol

I can only go by my experience at MNSSHP, but the people without the party bracelets were told to leave when the would linger at attractions or at character spots. What I observed was if they were walking out, there wasn't a problem. The CM's told them that the party was starting and that the park was closed. I never saw anyone being escorted out. The party started at 7 and it was close to 8 and people were still milling about without party bracelets, but there were "gentle" reminders by CM's for them to leave. I think you should be fine!

I have never heard of people being physically escorted from the park unless they have done something wrong. However, when you leave the restaurant, they may ask to see a wristband and/or MVMCP ticket and when you can't produce them, they will ask you to head out of the park. That's from what I have seen personally, anyway.

This past December, they had CMs posted all around the park during MVMCP asking to see folks' wristbands and such. I saw plenty of people asked to leave (and a couple of the CMs I noticed radioed ahead who to look for to make sure they made it to the gates) but never saw anyone being escorted to the gates. :

I've never heard of - or seen - anyone being escorted out of the parks. If you're walking out anyway, I doubt anyone would have a problem with that. I have seen people refused admission to the attractions without a wristband and asked to move on from watching shows etc.

I'm guessing since you have a verified ADR at one of their restaurants, you're not going to have a problem. Don't rush through your dinner either. : If it wasn't okay, you wouldn't have gotten the ADR slot. Call guest relations, but I don't think you'll have a problem.:

you will be fine to eat your dinner and finish your meal with out worries. When you leave the LTT, you will have to leave the Park. You need the wristband to do anything in the Park. They have CM around who keep those without a wristband from going into any of the Lands, other than the way out. SO if you were to want to exit the Park in a particular direction, they may guide you thru a differnt land instead. I have seen disappointed kids who see 5 minute waits for favorite attractions, but can't go on them. So remind the kids that the Park is open for a private party only.

maybe get tickets for that night? I know it may seem silly, but mvmcp is fun, also, 5 minutes waits for rides and plenty of shows going on. .. unless you plan on doing it later in your trip.

Actually I'd be surprised if they even seat you. When we were there the other year we had a dinner seating during what is considered "Party" seating, which is anything after 6pm, and they outright refused to seat a family that had a 6:30pm ADR because they did not have tickets to the party for that night even though they had a confirmed ADR.

I haven't seen this "first hand" but I was speaking to a guy last year (during MVMCP) who had been refused seating at a 6:30 ADR (sorry, don't remember which location) on one of the nights of MVMCP prior to the one he had tickets for. He was asked for a valid "wristband" and was declined access when he couldn't produce one (he showed them the tickets he had (for a later date) but that held no sway). The CMs were very apologetic, by all accounts, but no one was getting through without "wristbands".

I think they change their minds depending on money ??? or who knows what?

I do know that I made an adr on a MNSSHP for around 6pm (the day we arrived - knowing we'd be too tired but wanted the MK on our first night - then it became a party night - and I just knew we'd be too tired)

At the end of our meal as we we walking out a CM said she was going to escort us - and I was very understanding, dh and I started a conversation (dd kept yawning)

by the time we got to Mainstreet - people were lining up for the parade - but we were headed out - and we did nod at quite a few CM's along the route - they very well could've been radio'd ahead about us!

no pressure as far as our experience

I'd get tickets! We went to a Princess & Pirate Party, (me and dd was 22 at the time) and we loved it. Rides were walk on, I think we did Space Mountain and Big Thunder at least 4 times!

I think they have changed their stance on this. I had guests I could only get a 7:15 ADR for CRT on a party night. There were special "dining only wrist bands issued". They were told they would need to get these earlier in the day to be able to get back to CRT but they would not be able to get on any attractions after 7. They had no problems at all

I too would consider getting tickets the party is soooo fun. Easy to get on and off rides and the cookies and hot chocolate are wonderful and a bit different at the different "stations". It also makes for a more relaxing day altogether.

Thanks for the responses everyone! I think I will call WDW this afternoon and double check. I would consider buying MVMCP tickets BUT the day in question will be our second full MK day and our last evening in WDW. I don't think DH will go for it.
