| Didn't put 2yr old on ressie and got it....... I have been trying to get an ADR at Kona for 4 adults and 3 kids ( youngest being in a highchair) at a specific time for about 2 weeks now. For some reason today I just put in the 2 kids and a ressise was available. I grabbed it because my 2yr old isn't taking up a "chair" at a 6 person table and usually the highchair is wedged in next to me anyway. Do you think I will have an issue when I check in? I feel like calling and being up front about it............but on the other hand, I am thinking it can't possibly be a big deal |

| It could be an issue if the dining location has reached the capacity listed for fire codes.

| My advice would be to arrive at the restaurant early and check-in. Tell them you're willing to wait if that would make it easier on them. I'd bet they'll be able to accomodate you, it will just take a little bit for an appropriate table to open up. Good luck. Eileen

| I don't really think you will have a problem. When you check in, just tell them you have an additional child and you need a highchair. I cannot believe that they would send you away, but you might need to wait a few extra minutes.

| Yes it will be an issue, especially if it is busy in the restaurant at the time. A child, whether they are in a highchair or not is taking up a 'chair' at the table. When they slide a highchair up to the table they remove one of the chairs from the table. Be prepared to either wait longer than normal for your ADR because you will have to wait for a table for 8 (as you are actually a party of 7) or be prepared to lose your reservation entirely.
