| Quick Service Plan I am considering adding the QSDP to my reservation for my upcoming trip because I have 8 QS meals planned and that's exactly how many credits I would have. Then I would just pay my 3 TS meals OOP. But, I am just wondering if you would actually spend enough on a QS meal to make it worth the money? Anyone have experience with this? Thanks! |

| On the QS plan you 2 QS meals and 2 snacks per night so that would be 16 QS meals and 16 snacks for an 8 night trip. I think it's worth it just for the peace of mind you have because the vast majority if not all of your food is taken care already paid and the freedom it gives you to be anywhere at anytime without having to worry about having be at X for an adr at a certain time. I tried to keep track of how much the meals and snacks would have actually cost but since you only get the receipt showing how many credits you have left it was difficult because I had to catch the total or ask what it was. However based on what I did manage to catch I believe I at least broke even and quite possibly even saved some money. I'm actually considering swiching my February trip back to the QSDP even though I've upgraded it since I booked to the DP as I like the freedom the QSDP gives me. |

| I think the key is THINK BIG! Take a look at the menu at whatever eatery you enter and select the most expensive items or combos. This way you are sure to make it a money saver. You've already determined that you will be able to use up all of your dining credits so it sounds like you have an excellent plan for your upcoming trip. Have a mickey bar for me while you are down there!

| There are definite some good places to use a CS credit and get the bang for the buck (Wolfgang Puck Express comes to mind)!

| Refillable Mug and extra snack Don't forget you get a refillable mug to be used at your resort. Also, two snacks to the table service dining plans one snack per day. Myself with wife and 4 year old easily spent $30 to $40 and sometimes $50 at places like Cookes of Dublin, Wolfgang Pucks and Earl of Sandwich. Generally we don't tip at the QS restaurants either. We feel we get the bang for the buck. |

| Such great advice!! I also never, ever look at it as will I get my monies worth, I look at it as a prepayment. It's nice that most of my food money is taken care of--although this does apply mainly to the regular DDP.

| Thanks for everyones advice!! I ended up adding the QSDP and making it the AP with dining package. I think it will be nice to not have to worry about carrying extra money during the day for meals. And I will definately be getting my mug first thing |

| I think that Sunshine Seasons, Cosmic Rays, and Flame Tree Barbeque all offer lunch and dinner meals that are a fantastic bargains on the dining plan. Starring rolls, Main Street Bakery, and Sunshine Seasons (again) offer great values as breakfasts on the plan. I think you will enjoy having most of your meals paid for in advance (and only have to worry about your 3 TS as out-of-pocket.) So much of a WDW trip becomes a more relaxed feeling adventure when money constraints are minimized! It sounds like you have your dining plans down pat.

| We decided against it although we thought we would get it if they offered a QS plan. We rarely eat desserts with meals, and because we drive, we often eat a meal or two off site. Also, we tend to snack through the day as it works better than eating a lot at once for my diabetic husband. So even though we buy and use the mugs and mostly eat CS, we took a pass on the meal plan as our historic average daily food costs for the three of us were still less than the meal plan would be. We will reevaluate it for next year though!

Same for us. We had the regular dining plan in Sept '07 and didn't like having to wait for table service. We are doing only 3 TS and paying OOP for those. | |

| The upgrade to TS plan is about $10 per day. If you're paying OOP for three meals, you might do as well to upgrade the dining plan.
