Most Healthy Restaurants At Disney?

Obviously everybody likes to be entertained while they are at Disney. However, we all need good energy levels to enjoy the parks. In your opinion, which food places serve the most nutritious portions at Disney World?

Disney has made changes over the last few years so that every location offers at least a few healthy choices. But right now, I think, The Wave offers the most aggressive healthy menu. They use organic and local foods in their food preparation. I recall someone online calling it 'good-for-you food with a gourmet flair'.

I also think the Sunshine Seasons Food Court in the Land Pavilion at Epcot has some great choices.

Off hand, I don't recall any place specifically, but I would think that the buffets can also be deemed "better" places to eat since you can choose from a wider variety of foods, as well as portion control. . .not that I find that sort of thing happening on my plate while in the World!

Any TS restaurant in Disney can accomodate any dining need, from severe allergies to salt-free. Make sure to mention any concerns when you make adr's, & they will give you a special number to speak to someone specifically about your dining needs, which will then be noted on your adr's. At the restaurant, the chef will come & speak to you about them, & prepare your meal customized to your needs. Do not be reluctant to try any TS that strikes your fancy!

I agree! I don't think any one restaurant is really 'healthier' than another. It's all in the choices you make as the guest. I have no problem being specific with what I want and I've always been accommodated.

Not to mention those Counter Services are really coming into their own with helping out any dietary needs.

One great thing, the chef will always come to the table to discuss dietary needs.
My best friend is allergic to sulfates in food or something like that
so she had the chef at Tony's come out and he checked for her.

I agree -- I love that most snack stands offer fresh oranges or fruit salads!

I love Sunshine Seasons (The Land in Epcot) and also any of the rotisserie chicken meals in the counter service locations around property.

The table service venues have a good amount of choice and you can find lots of healthy veggies and meat options that are lower in calories/carbs.

The Special Dietary Requests team at Disney can also give you good info...
