Re: PS Arrangements- Need Your Opinion!

I'll comment on the first two. We just did both of those in May, and they were great. You can't go wrong!

As for RFC, it's not one of our favorites. We have one about 30 minutes from us now, so it's lost the appeal for us. Plus, our kids are afraid of the thunderstorms, so it wouldn't be a pleasant meal.

Haven't tried any of the other 3.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe - <font color="blue"> We are trying this one when we go later this year
<font color="black"> Crystal Palace - <font color="blue"> We went here for the character lunch with Winnie the Pooh &amp; Friends. It was great! Good food, good buffet choices, and good character interaction.
<font color="black"> Rainforest Cafe - <font color="blue"> Worth trying once if you've never been
<font color="black"> Hoop Dee Do Musical Review - <font color="blue"> haven't been
<font color="black"> 50's Prime Time Cafe - <font color="blue"> This was not one of our favorites. The food was just okay and our waiter didn't play around with us nearly as much as we were expecting after all the things we read about this place.
<font color="black"> Nine Dragons - <font color="blue"> haven't been

Re: PS Arrangements- Need Your Opinion!

We LOVE HDDR...have eaten there the 2 times we've been to WDW...always a good time and PLENTY of food!
Chrystal Palace is another favorite...plenty of all different choices. As for Rainforest Cafe...I have to say we loved that too, but of course we don't have one very close to us, so it was a first.
I hope you enjoy all your meals!!

Re: PS Arrangements- Need Your Opinion!

I can't help with Wolfgang Puck Cafe, Rainforest Cafe or the Hoop De Doo Musical Revue, as we've not eaten at any of these. Of the others, we love the Crystal Palace, it's probably our favourite character meals. We didn't think the 50's Prime Time Cafe was anything spectacular, but I know lots of people on the boards really love the place and as for Nine Dragons, there was nothing wrong with the food, it was good, but it was very pricey.

Re: PS Arrangements- Need Your Opinion!

I can only help with two of them, I haven't tried the others.

Crystal Palace is one of my favorites. The food and selection is very good and the characters are terrific (of course!). The atmosphere is also really nice, and it's a lovely restaurant

50s Prime Time can be a fun place. You absolutely should do it at least once to experience the atmosphere and decor. But keep in mind that the food is only average, and your server is key to how much fun you have there. Our first time, we had a server who seemed harried and wasn't into the fun. She just served the food as they would in any restaurant -- no joking around or anything. At a friend's suggestion, we tried it again and had a much better time because our server was so funny.

Hope this helps.

Re: PS Arrangements- Need Your Opinion!

Hi there - here is my list of opinions on these -
<font color="blue">
Wolfgang Puck Cafe: Haven't tried it yet - We've never eaten at Downtown Disney!

Crystal Palace: Loved it! We've only done breakfast here - but it was YUMMY! Good character interaction, great service, good food, and an awesome omelet station!!! Love the early PS time - you get to go into an EMPTY MK!! Well worth the money.

Rainforest Cafe: While this one isn't a fav for many - we don't have one near us, and it really fits into the Disney magic. We've only done the one in AK, but we've visited several times - with PS - no waits! Service was mediocre, but the food was good, and the kids loved the atmosphere - especially the animatronics and the Nemo fish! Just beware - the kid's smoothie type drinks are very expensive, and the server keeps offering to refill them - and refills are NOT free! Our bar bill was almost $100 last time, with NO alcohol!

Hoop De Doo Musical Revue: This is a MUST DO, at least once, for every true Disney fan - this dinner show is a hoot!! We have been 3 times - in 1986, Mar 2002, and Nov 2003. Every time the show has been just as good! While it is fairly pricy - everything is included, including beer or wine for the grownups! The fried chicken is incredible - melts in your mouth - and the salad is to die for - love their dressing! DH loves the ribs and I just love the whole atmosphere - it is great!!

50's Prime Time Cafe: Another family favorite - we have never been disappointed in the food - although our service, and the fun, have been hit or miss! This is my middle daughter, Jennie's favorite restaurant at WDW!

Nine Dragons: Never yet tried, but it is on my list - the reviews used to be consistently negative, but in the last year or so, it seems to have turned around - Next trip - this one will be on our list to try.
