Restaurant Marrakesh

Background: I am a VERY picky eater, one person going with me is a vegetarian, another is a meat & potatoes person.

My question about Marrakesh is this: what is there for us to eat? Specifically, me being picky (like anything other than beef, chicken or turkey will never pass these lips) and my vegetarian friend????

Should we just peek our heads in the door to see what it looks like and call it a day?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Re: Restaurant Marrakesh

No eat there..all three of you will LOVE it.

The meat and potatoes guy can definately fill up..especially if he/she likes lamb.

The Vegan will love the soup (lentil-ish) and cous-cous.

and you will be able to eat plenty of chicken or beef dishes.

the difference here is not the food itself but the unusual pairings of flavors, spices that you woulded imagine with certain meatsa or veggies...not hot but flavorful...mint, cinamon, etc., very appealing..different yet familiar flavors and the atmosphere is the best on property for something exotic.

That is what I want! I used to belly-dance a little and I KNOW the guys in my group would LOVE that! (I'm the only female in the group!!) I want to do OTHER things this coming trip as my son's best friend goes into the Marine Corps in July of next year. This is our trip with him for his graduation/enlistment.

Thanks!

Re: Restaurant Marrakesh

On our first trip, we ate at Marrakesh and Julie will confirm I was still a fairly picky eater (as was she). We both loved the place. Great food, outstanding atmosphere and delicious wine.

I'd say go for it!

Re: Restaurant Marrakesh

My sis-in-law and I ate there. We are both particular about what we eat. We found a few appetizers that appealed to us. They were very good! I loved the mint tea, also. The atmosphere is great as well.

Yep, I'll confirm - I was very veggie/seafood heavy - and thomas is mr. meat/potatoes - one of our favorite spots now - (even though we're both a lot less picky now....)

90+10 is easy to figure out, actually. At 90 days from the day you check in to your WDW resort (count backward on a calendar starting with the day before you check in as 1), you can make up to 10 days worth of Priority Seatings, um I mean Advance Dining Reservations.
