1. copy files to another directory called resize
2. right click on the file I want to resize
3. choose resize photos
4. select the options regarding size I want
5. I have tried both replace and and copy and nothing happens when I click ok.

How do I resize photos with Vista? I tried to download the re-sizer program and it only works with Windows XP. I would like to post photos but the files are too large. Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

It'll be a day or so Vicky, but I'll get on Jan's new laptop computer with Vista and see what works...

Hey Pam, and everyone else using VISTA....

Here's a program recommended to me, it's similar to the XP version of image resizer, but a little different also. At least it's free, and does batch resizing.

I have not used it yet, I have some programs I use that I paid for. If I get time, I'll play with it later.

The program can be found at;

Free Image Resize Software Import organize resize photos- VSO

Good Luck...

HELP!

Bill,
I have used to resizer in the past. I had some computer work done a few weeks ago and now I have to reload it. I went to the link you sent, downloaded resizer and I am having alot of trouble getting it started. It says the file is corrupt. I can not get it to run on my computer for some reason.
Help!?!?!?!?!

If you're still using XP, go back and redownload the file. Try installing it again and see if it works.

If you've upgraded the computer and are now on VISTA, go to the new link near the bottom of this thread and download that program...

The XP version won't run on VISTA
