Question Animated Smilies?

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered somewhere else here. Have the smilies always been animated and I just never saw them on my computer, or is this something new? They're much more animated and colorful now, at least what I'm seeing using my friend's computer.

I know I haven't been on the boards lately, first because I was on vacation and then because of my hard drive being kaput. I also know that the boards got a new server during that time. Were the smilies always animated and I just never saw them that way on my computer, or is it something new with the new boards?

TIA for any llight you can shed on this.

Red face So I guess I'm just nuts, then?

Thank you for confirming what I've always known; that I'm ! Okay, so I've been a member of Passporter for almost 5 years and I've NEVER seen the smilies move or change colors on my pc. Hmmm. Must be a setting I don't have correct, or something. Maybe the new hard drive will help. If not, I'll be back for more help. Sure is to see the smilies moving here, though.

BTW, I'm a little to see that I probabky used some of them wrong in the past. For instance, the "headsmack" smilie on my pc just showed the hand down by the mouth, like "oops" not actually hitting himself on the head. Oh well!
