Can anyone tell me how to move blog entries into categories other than uncategorized?

It's been a while, plus I've been offline for a couple of weeks and just getting caught up on the boards, haven't even ventured to my profile page or blog yet ...

ANYWAY, on one of the blog settings and controls pages, there is a section where you can create categories, assign them to parent categories, and create an order that you want them to appear in.

Once you get the categories created, you then have to go into each individual blog entry that you have made (in edit mode I believe), scroll down to the bottom, and you should see your categories listed in a "tree" format. Just click the box next to however many categories you want to assign that entry to, and save your changes. The next time you or anybody else views that blog entry, it should show the categories at the bottom of the entry.

From here on out, when you make a new blog entry, just remember to scroll down below the text entry section and check off the categories so you won't have to go back in and edit it later.
