| Can someone help with this? We have a Dell desktop. Its really slow, its a few yrs old. DH likes the monitor and keyboard. The keyboard isn't a dell I purchased it a Staples. My question is, DH wants to just purchase a new tower piece. Can we purchase a mac and will it be compatible with the dell monitor? OR does it all need to be either MAC or Dell? TIA! Gina |

| My guess would be that the monitor is compatable, however, if you're looking at a new MAC, you can do better on price by buying a complete unit. Many of the new desktop MAC's are built into the monitor. If you're gonna get a PC, then you can just buy the tower. I also doubt that the older monitor would be able to handle the full capabilities of the newer system...
